5th Annual Cadette Senior Camporee
Appalachian Caverns in Blountville Tennessee is expanding its Caving Camporee once again.
The 5th Annual Caving Camporee will be open to Girl Scouts ages 12-17 and their leaders from all across the USA (or the world)
Please note there have been some changes from previous years.
Due to requests from leaders, for 2009 there will be a choice of 2-one week sessions offered.
The first session will begin on June 14th and the second week will begin on June 21st.
Check in will be on Sunday and events will begin on Monday with checkout no later than the following Sunday morning.
The 4 day program is ONLY available the first week and will include:
Caving
Whitewater Rafting
Rock Climbing
Putt-Putt
Ice Cream Social
Regular Cavern Tour & Seminar
Bristol Motor Speedway Track Tour
Movie in the Park
Cost is $110 per person
The 7 day program is available both weeks and will include in addition to activities of the 4 day program:
Water Fight
Mtn. Biking
Hiking
a second wild cave tour
a night in the cave to camp for those who want to.
The cost will be $165 per person for the 7 day program.
Both weeks will be limited to 225 people each (girls and leaders combined)
It is definitely important to get reservations in early for your choice of weeks.
Initial non refundable deposit will be $50 per troop at time of reservation.
Balance must be paid in full by May 1st 2009.
There will be a cancellation fee of $30 per person after the March 15th deadline.
After April 15th (when a schedule will be confirmed with vendors) additions to troop numbers attending will be more expensive.
Reserve lists will be set up for troops who apply after limits have been reached in the event there are cancellations.
